Reeve 2003-09-21 ch 1,	abuseIn keeping with the spirit of the anime, I felt a certain obligation to play up GAINAX references for this prequel. This includes the idea of having each "episode" specifically reference certain GAINAX works; for this one it was Gunbuster and Evangelion. And, like the anime, I think "Lefteye" will be all the more coherant in its completed form. At any rate, thanks for reading!
Nasinnet 2003-09-19 ch 1, anon.	abusethough it's a good story, and i like your speculations, i think that the only real detractor was your "Ayanami Ray". Being an Eva fan myself, the referance sounded kind of thrown in. If i had not known about Eva, (and yes, there ARE people who don't) then the reference sounds as bad as when science fiction writers just put the word space in front of everything. I do like the story overall.
