just going through the old author pages i've taken note of likin and i came across this one. i've never played the game but i always did like the what ifs of world destruction and new creatures. hope ya continue this some time.

I've played through the game at least a dozen times and I really like this set of stories. Great attention to detail, portrayl of characters, and mention of in-game mission sites. I hope to read more and see what happens to the team in the lair of the Calculator, and the group back at the base when the robots assault. I hope it's a good ending. It would be really, really, REALLY annoying to lose either main character after 7 chapters. The Easter Egg is the line "a kiss to build a dream on", part of the song in the opening cinematic of Fallout.

This is a pretty cool story; definitely a good take on the Fallout Tactics (I like all the characters in this by the way, especially Ice and Mother). I hope you update soon.

Thanks immo. I'm very glad that there is some life in this one yet, and again this was a very enjoyable chapter. I'll agree with the fic that Lex and Stevie's sweet talking is not exactly high literature, but thanks to the fact that it didn't drag on too much is was fluffy in its own way. Plus the little tiff it lead to was funny, as was Mother's last line of the first scene. I did laugh out loud at that.

But you leave it on such a cliff hanger. Poor Ice, and poor everyone after that news. That brought them back to reality with a bump after the fluff and would-be-virgin-mother pandering. Hopefully it won't be another two years before the next update?

Given that you are still writing, I have to ask if you're going to come back and do any more to this fic? It has been HUGELY enjoyable so far, especially considering that you have managed to take some of my pet peeves from the later games and actually make them work in the context of your story. Most obviously, I've never liked the sentient deathclaws idea, but you turned Mother into a very interesting character. And unlike many shoujo-ai fics Lex's emotions didn't feel rushed to me, which was a very welcome surprise.

I do think it would be a shame if you don't continue the story, but whatever the case it has been fun.
