Didn't expect the ending at all, of course. I truly thought this was a Leo centric with Raph as the one who died.

I am a bit confused, though. I thought, as far as TMNT history is concerned, that Oruku Saki was already part of the Foot clan when his brother died. I know I read it somewhere that Hamoto Yoshi was of the Foot, when the Foot was a respected clan, before Saki took it over following his brother's death. Once Yoshi was out of the picture and had fled to New York, Saki turned the clan into the thieves and murderers that ended up plaguing NYC.

Just a thought. Obviously, it is quite possible that you have moved on to other, possibley more lucrative, ventures. Considering the age of this one-shot, it truly doesn't matter, now.

Anyway, it was well written and the ending was surprising, which - I believe - was your intent all along.

It caught my heart as many "death" fan fics often do...
But the interesting switch at the end where it's not infact Leonardo, as I assumed it was, speaking of Raphael's death, but Saki was very well done!
And it was smart as well. It makes you think about how the lined blur between "good and evil" and how life often works. It's in my personal beleif that TMNT has always blurred the lined between good and evil in the common sense.
