Emperor San 2004-01-20 ch 1,	abuseHi This is a really good story. It's basically backstory to HP and I'm a complete ** for backstory. (I nearly died from rapture reading 'The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black' chapter in OOtP and reading this sent me into fits of joy.) I absolutely love the idea of the Blacks being matriarchal. Strong wizarding women are nonexistent in the HP Fandom (except for, occasionally, Molly Weasley and Hermione Granger). Sirius mother seems to be the influencing force in most of Sirius' life. It was probably her political leanings, more than anyone else’s that drove him from home. His father was barely mentioned except for the 'snogging of the pants' comment. Anyway, before I get too off track. This is a lovely story and I adore your writing. So -- yeah, bye. e. san
