This is awesome - you've got Logan's voice and thought processes both down perfectly. (And I'm pretty picky!) I love his attitude towards her and the way they interact. And it's always nice to have more background on the convoluted history of the X-Men! ;-)

This sounded very much like Logan. It's great that you didn't lay the accent on too thick. It would have been too difficult to decipher and more than likely would have ruined the story. This is almost set up like a prologue.

I haven't read many of the X-men fiction posted on FFN - not enough time, darn it - and thought I'd start here. :)

I stopped reading the comics somewhere in the early nineties so I'm not familiar with 'X-Men: True Friends'. Doesn't matter, though. This piece stands well on its own. Logan's 'voice' is just fine and you've captured their friendship/student-mentor relationship very well.

Wish there was more Kitty Pryde writing from you...
