This same scene has been written so much better by many other authors already. This is one of the lesser efforts. BZ's "Smooth" puts this to shame, for instance. Waste of time to read.

Thanks, Crystal. This is a very decent look into what Buffy must be thinking. It had to be pretty traumatic to see an entire town just collapse into nothing especially if that town is your home. Naturally the show's writers WOULD leave it up to fanfic writers like yourself to fill in the gaps and you did that very well.

Very nice short story. I especially liked the "So here she was.." paragraph. There were not a lot of specific details in this one. Although I thought that this took away from it being about "Buffy," I can see how it would be easier for someone else to relate to. You might want to consider keeping punctuation/capitaliztion consistent, as the first paragraph is somewhat difficult to read. Overall, a lovely read. Keep up the great work!
