I love the prologue so far. It is so sad but it is really great. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is that at one part I was a little confused about whether Meg was talking to JJ or Luke. The end clears that up but maybe try to clear it up earlier unless the idea is to keep the reader guessing who Meg is talking to.

Wonderful...angst is my favorite genre and you do it justice.

Oh my gosh, that was great. I wanna cry (but I'm reading this at school, so that would be embarrassing) I love American Dreams. I really hope JJ doesn't die on the show!

That ending was just so...WOW! I loved it though. I think you did an amazing job! Please keep up the phenomenal work. Maybe in your next one...JJ can actually live.

I still like this one. You are the Barkeep and Bringer of All Things Angsty! My heartstrings hurt.

Now for the constructive stuff, right? I like that even though she's obviously mad at JJ and blames him for her inability to talk to the family, her biggest concern is that he wouldn't be proud of her and what she's become. My suggestion there, though, would be to keep mentioning it throughout. You're giving us an overview of what's to come, since this is the 'Prologue', so be careful not to reveal too much. You don't want to tell your entire story now and not give the readers anything to look forward to.

Anyhoo, as always, I'm proud. I'm doing my Boogie Shoes dance of joy on the tables. Keep it up. You improve with every piece. Just remember to think about the overall picture of what you want to say. You're doing just fine. Thumbs up!

This was so good! I could totally see it, see Meg like that. Her situation sounds a bit similar to that of Julia Stiles' character in that tv movie The 60s, but I could actually envision Meg ending up like that. Very sweet. You should do stories from the other's POVs, in the same situation.
