I've searched the web for a long time looking for fic's with Jack Sparrow and this is definetly one of the best I've come acrossed so far. There isn't many people who can write Jack as well as you. *Bows*

I really like it mate! it captures Cap'n Jack's personallity fairly well, and the plot line is very "cheeky" if I may be so bold! Keep them comming!

What a wonderful story! Ha, I'm a fan of J/A stories and I must say yours was one of the best I ever read!

I liked the way you let Jack adress the audience every now and then, as if he was telling the tale over a mug of good rum in a tavern. Awesome! It gave the story a li'll something extra, and obviously allowed you to let Jacks personality shimmer through the words, because it was *him* who colored the story the way he fancied it. This way it allowed the readers to take it some of what was told with a grain of salt, but still let the story remain realistic. Wonderfully done!

Furthermore, I adore the way you portrayed Anamaria. Her quick wit and piratical side are really obvious in this fiction. In the movie that's *all* we see of her, so Ana wouldn't be Ana without it! You took this close to heart and descriped the pirate lass exactly how I like to see her descriped. Two thumbs up for that!

I'm afraid I lack any critical / constructive remarks for now. ;)

Anyhow, I'm adding this story to my favorites. And I'm definately gonna read more of your work :) You got me hooked, mate! :D

Not *quite* in character, Jack-wise, but oh, so very close. And a damned sight closer than 99.9% of the POTC writers out there. And even when he's doing things not quite IC, it's still a funny and well written story. Keep it up- POTC fanfic needs you.

Okay, you are totally brilliant at writing Jack Sparrow. And I love the way this fic ends. With Jack sailing into Port Royal. Really, this is the most realistic-seeming account of the way Jack and Ana would have met, and how he stole (sorry, BORROWED without permission) her boat. Really well written. Good Job!
