Liked that story. Finished reading in one day, and since then I've been checking it every day for any updates. Two or three weeks, you say? Then I'll have to wait.

What drew me to this story? Well, at first it was the title, not too many people create whole new characters to the extent as to give them a past, and a personality, only to kill them off in the first few chapters (John). And since then I have enjoyed how the story has been progressing. It's a very good story, with a very good understanding of the charcters from the game. I look forward to the next chapters.

Weggs and Bidge. I kept mis-reading those names, and then i'd think, 'no, wait, they're dead...' and then i'd remember that it's Weggs and Bidge here, and not Biggs and Wedge.

Everything is tying together more, now, isn't it? Sol is Autumn's brother who is in league with Nick King, and... it's fun to watch the plot develop like this, i'm only sorry i haven't been here since the beginning.

I like the idea of using Cloud's name to advertise for the Saucer, even though he wouldn't like it, really. But, even then, as you said, he did sneak into Corneo's mansion to save Tifa, and storm Shin-ra's HQ to save Aeris...

wow. this is, truly, the most addicting fanfiction i've read in the last six months, if not ever! It's complete, in a way stories on this site so often aren't. you don't just focus on one dilemma, but have different things happening everywhere, so while I'm reading about Cid stumbling around Shera, I'm also wondering what Reeve is up to, with Mel and Sara.

You've added a lot of characters, but at the same time, you fall back on so many of the original 'cast' of the game, like Joe! And Teioh! (as shameful as it is, I like Teioh...)

You've followed the game, exactly, with maybe one or two things differently, which, be it a 'mistake' or not, might not be noted by every player of the game. For example, Bugenhagen dies, but he dies after the crew gets to the Crater, so if a person wasn't pathetically terrified of the Crater and the tonberrys and dragons like I was, then they would never know that Bugenhagen can die, because they wouldn't leave Crater and hide among the other cities for a month or so, first.

My favorite 'sections' of the story to read are the Rufus-focused parts, but then again, Rufus has always been the most interesting character to me, followed by the Turks and Zack.
