For some reason I thought Hinata didn't truly love Naruto. It could be admire.

I like the way this story was written. It's very descriptive! :)

Anyway I don't like the pairing, but this isn't really important since it's a matter of taste at the end. Unfortunately, writing this pairing makes Neji OOC almost all the times. For example, the fact that he's jealous of Naruto while in the manga he admires him.

Furthermore, the canon Neji seems a person only dedicated on perfectioning (sp?) his fighting abilities, and he is one of those few characters in Naruto who fights for the fighting itself.

Maybe later in the manga, he will show the will to protect the main family (and Hinata), but he hadn't yet (even if after his deafet during the Chuunin Exam he cares about her).

Anyway, your story was wort reading.
