Oh, lovely, lovely. I love your Snape and McGonagall interaction. They're such two very different personalities, forced to work in close quarters, with quite a bit of history - and it comes across very clearly in your writing. Not just the two of them either; superb characterizations all around. This was a perspicacious snapshot into a staff meeting. And I do mean it when I say perspicacious. XD

Oh - this is the perfect intro to a long story of all the mishaps that can happen at Snape Manor... Update?

Read "Primer" and just finished this 1st chapter. Both were very good. I suppose it's beyond a lost cause to even hope for an update since it's now '07 and you updated this in '03. ::sigh:: Oh well.

I have just read your fanfiction primer to the dark arts and snape manor. aut of the 500 some odd harry potter fanfictions they were at the top of my favourites list. Will you be writing any more for snape manor? I hope you do ^_^

A pity this doesn't seem to be updating... I really enjoyed Primer, and enjoyed this chapter as well. Hope to see more sometime.

I hope you post the next chapter soon, too...it's very brave of you to attempt to adapt your story to canon, although I loved the first one just as it was, and I was looking forward to seeing Sirius' reaction, even though I read PttDA post OotP. I guess I'm still in denial; I live for stories that have Sirius alive and kicking. Please don't abandon this story, there are so many readers who are dying to see what happens next, even the suckers who don't review. >__< Write, write, write!
