Well, I don't have to look at this sideways to see slash, and I must admit the whole Jack/Will thing has never really appealed to me--but for the concept, I actually liked the story. The needing a purpose thing is good. I always thought that Will would be restless after the whole Black Pearl fiasco ended, although for him to admit it would definitely take time, in my opinion. Anyway, I like the way you do Will's voice without making it so cliche, like many other stories I've come across. Believe it or not, it's not really that easy to write in Will's first person. ~Yilantri |
