This was awesome. Your Dru was so perfectly in character!

And you went and highlighted one of the issues I've always had with the Chosen spell. All these new girls are slayers, don't know it, but chances are the demons around them will. Dru going after them to avenge Spike, is just plain awesome.

Wonderful fic! You wrote Drusilla amazingly well. I especially loved these lines:

"Little brothers. But they don't laugh after they've been eaten. Even if you want them to."

"You're holding your stake all wrong, my sweet. The pointy end should be towards me. Oh, but it doesn't have a pointy end, does it."

"They gave my Spike to the sun, I'll give their pretties to the dark."

DELICIOUS little story! Perfect in every way (though I'd love it if this were but the first chapter of a longer series). The Mary Poppins line was absolutely priceless. You have Dru's voice down perfectly, and I'd love to see you do other stories with her as a character. (Though not if that'll take time away from working on the V!Giles stuff. Gotta keep working on that Career Change series, you gotta!) All in all, a sweet lozenge of a story that I've already passed around to all my friends today. Thank you for it.
