What a magnificent story... Nearly ten years ago I discovered this story by accident online and, having no time to begin it then, saved it to my computer. Regretfully I lost track of it, and today, ten years later, it flashed into my mind... and I read the entire thing while sitting outside in my own "painted desert" of New Mexico. After an entire decade! I laughed, I cried, I cried some more... this story is a masterpiece. Janeway is my favorite captain and my favorite character, and I always knew she and Chakotay belonged together - now, despite the ridiculous ending episodes of the TV series, they can truly be together, thanks to your beautiful and thoughtful writing. And now I have tears in my eyes again :) Thank you for bringing this wonderful romance to life. Gratefully, Beth :)

I ran across this story recently and I've read it through 3 times now. I've got to say that this story was written in good taste and gets across what wants to be said so beautifully. It's a very heart touching story. Thank you.

That was undoubtably the best thing I have read in my entire life - published or unpublished. Honestly, it was breathtaking, real, magical, true to J/C, emotional, tense, romantic, sad, and happy. I could go on and on describing my appreciation for this work, but due to by dumbfounded nature at the moment I fear I would only talk in circles. So let me just say this, KEEP WRITING!

I read this in May, so I have to add it to my favorites list. :) This is the best fanfiction I have ever read, in all the categories I read in. It beats "Draco Dormiens", "The Love That Shattered a Man", and everything else. It's also the longest I've ever read. I read in one day, though. :) Great, great, great, great job! It's so believable, so so believable. Too bad...I enjoy reading J/C so much, but I can't write it nearly as well as you/ Great job, again! Now you just think I'm pyshotic, right? :-)

Wow. I mean...WOW! I realize this is a little late and all, seeing the date you put this up, but I have to say something. For the past three days, I've read this story. Yeah, there was major sap, but it's good sap. The kinda sap I like, if done right. I like it...hell, I LOVE it!
