Heh, Heero is a nearly inhuman opponent but nobody ever seems to beat Juri at straight fencing, except maybe Ruka, not even supernaturally empowered Utena during their first duel.
I'm pretty sure a referee would try to stop a match upon a broken foil, so I'll just assume the whole exchange happened so fast he couldn't talk until it was over.

Gundam Wing really isn't the best thing to learn fencing scenes from... I have no idea if it was just to match the orginal clear mask in Wing and the one touche bouts in Utena but it DRIVES ME MAD! Bouts is pools (or first round of fencing) are typically to five touches.

Real masks do not yet have a clear visor strip in foil (they do have it in sabre though).

A referee would halt the bout at the first sight of a broken blade (plus the wire in it would keep it attached and it would be like weilding a twig that is snapped partically in half).

I love it when people throw in something as cool as fencing, so I just try to get the word out about what it really is about. I sound like a nit-pick (and I guess I am, haha). You did a lot better job incorporating fencing then a lot of other authors do. You knew some of the foot work! Props there man.

To the story line, I was not really sure how this cross over would work out. I mean Utena meets Wing? How weird does that sound! You always seem to pull these things through though. I am looking forward to reading more of this.
