I'd nearly forgotten this story (see what happens when you let months elapse between chapters?). But I'm also hoping they catch this rogue Slayer. She's clearly insane and a menace to the public. However, I'm wondering why the Watchers Council hasn't gotten involved; this seems like the sort of situation they would take very seriously indeed. Maybe they haven't received the news yet or all those active Slayers are clouding their radar.
