Reviews for: To The Ends Of Middle Earth Epilogue
gginsc 12/2/11 . chapter 1
How sad! Did you ever write anything else about this story?
Miruial 12/20/06 . chapter 1
Oh no! poor Thranduil! *cries* It's such a sad story! *sniff* I read "To the Ends of Middle Earth" obviously, and it was incredibly sad. I do like the original ending much better, however, no matter how sad it is. It just seems unrealistic, like grasping at straws to make him alive when he didn't actually die. Now I imagine you'll continue this with Elladan, Elrohir, and Elrond's reactions?

i think this really does capture that heart-wrenching quality that's a prerequisite in any fic involving death-or in fact most angst fics. i've read the story preceeding this. i have to agree with you. it's better with legolas dead. i mean, otherwise it would be more like a silly story and anyway it justs contradicts the feel of the whole story.

I'm interested in seeing where you will go with this story. We haven't any bad guys to chase, or situations to remedy. Only the grief of a father and friends. A nice subtle way to bring out the personalities and strengths of your characters.

*Snif* This was such a beautiful beginning, and wonderfully written. You've captured Thranduil's sadness and sorrow so perfectly.

Oh this is so sad! Poor Thranduil. I hope he'll be able to manage alright...

I liked the begginning. I prefered the happier ending though. Are you going to do an epilogue for the happy version which would be interesting to read as does this one. Its very good.

This is so sad! Poor Thranduil. One of the curses of deathlessness in a dangerous age is that you might outlive those you love.
