wow. your stories are really truly amazing. this was one of those stories with a twist at th end that you really don't expect, and after reading the ending, everything else made sense, like draco's coldness and his other senses, and staying "in between"...i loved it. i just had to read it again, and again, after the first time.

Oh-- Well done, indeed. Your writing made it easy to *see* the setting & I like the idea that Draco would choose to stay w/ Snape rather than w/ Hogwarts. Also liked the house elf bit-- You really put quite a bit of throught & preperation into this ficlet.

Good for Snape, being strong for Hermione's sake. I felt bad though that he's only been left with Draco's spirit for company. How horrid to be a Slytherin in the company of all those lost Gryffindors. * shudder *

Awesome story!! That was wonderful! I loved it! The details were good, without beeing boring, the story was just plain awesome, and Snape and Draco were great! The only thing bad was the title. It doesn't go well with such an awesome story! Rename it with something like 'Patience In the Dark' or 'Guarding the Light'

I'm willing to swear right now that this is the best fic I've ever read. Close to the best story I've ever read. I haven't ever been struck speechless by a story before. The atmosphere was more than amazing, I'm in awe. That was the best part, just the feel of the story. I'd love to see more stories from this time period. I'd say more, but I'm too astounded.
