Hello!

I just finished reading this and thought it was very good. The plot wasn't strong but the story was very good, very structured. I liked how you put so much detail in there with trying to research a past that may or may not have been real. I liked how you tied everything together to, past and present.

I'd like to see a follow up of this. Maybe Akikata is a descendant of Kenshin or something?

Amazingly written! This is certainly the most original fic I've read on this topic. I love the twist you did with Akitaka and related his life to Kenshin's. Very very interesting and good insight into all the characters' thoughts, Kenshin, Enishi, etc. Loved this!

This was really neat. I liked how you compared the two times. Ending like you did seemed very profound.

What a wonderful story this was! I loved reading it, and I hope you'll write more and in a similar style soon.
At first, your story appeared to be a rather random array of short stories, held together by the character of Akitaka, but when I got to the very end and reflected upon it for a bit I realized that you had a much more intricate connection of the chapters: a development of both character and understanding in Akitaka, and an intrinsic insight into Kenshin's development on the 'historical' plane of the story.
You have a wonderful style, refreshing and refined. Your chapters were short, but so intense that they made up twice for their shortness. And the ending... let's just say that I'm still wondering who the person who held Kenshinn back was... perhaps a figment of his imagination, an impersonation of a part of his mind that didn't want to die?
I hope you'll continue writing- even though you state in your bio that writing doesn't come to you naturally I think this piece of work proved yourself wrong! You are a writer!

Honestly one of the best things about fanfiction is you learn more about the character, even if it takes a while to find out if its true. I loved this story it was really good and originalI like how you ended this story, it was good especially with no one being there and what-not, Her I give you marshmelloes as a reward for a job well done, I'll check in later on any other sotries you have, I can see Kenshin doing that with the whole mangled one armed guy, wouldn't it be ironic if he died of blood loss??Anyway later, Bye-bye:p

This unworthy one is sorry for criticizing without the facts! Good story, although I think it needs more of an epilogue. It's on my favorites list by the way.

Really good chapter! Have I mentioned enough time how much I like your writing? One can really see what is happening when you write. One thing though. Battousai would get in big trouble if he left someone alive, since most of his assassinations were of political figures who were targeted for their influence in the government. I suppose some might have been targeted for their skills in battle though, say if he was a general in the army or something. The other thing is Kenshin was never supposed to leave witnesses who could say who he was or what he looked like. Remember Tomoe? "What you have seen no one has ever lived to see."
