This one-shot made me smile ear to ear! I'm really beginning to love Sheik/Link slash now! At first, I was uncomfortable because I wasn't used to it. But after reading your Aceilux, I love them! And this one just increased my interest in them!

In this story, I love how you kept Sheik brutally honest, no matter how he feels against it. And I really love how you write him, how he reacts to people, traps, situations. Especially how he thinks of how to heal himself or take someone out. Not much authors go in that direction.

I hope you write much more!

This was beautiful. The stark, simple speeches are well placed, and the contrast of Link's gentility to everything else in Sheik's life is actually quite beautiful. I envy your talent. The way you write Sheik is such an original take on the character, as opposed to simply Zelda in disguise. I also love the small reference to just how many lives would have been lost during this time. Really gorgeous peice.

That was cute! When Sheik and Link are talking about the using people thing, it reminded me of SS, where the Sheikah are sometimes considered ruthless? Yeah. ^_^ I enjoyed it.

I love the Sheikah saying. Very interesting and quite true a lot of the time. The way you connected it at the beginning and the end was good, too. Like others have said, you gave Link issues... which is realistic. A lot of people write Link as the ever-valiant hero that never has any problems, but considering what he's had to go through, that really doesn't make a lot of sense. Finally! A Link/Sheik fic that isn't forced! Oh gods, how I have searched so long for this! Thank-you! I love the fact that you addressed the idea of Link being manipulated by everyone (hardly anyone seems to think about that). The scene where you set this also gets a thumbs up from me. The Shadow Temple (or rather the Link/Sheik interaction by the well beforehand) is probably one of my favorite moments in the game.
