This was a great read, u can feel the pace slowing smoothly, the action though distant is reflected nicely in Kenshin.. Kaoru is also extremely well done.

The simplicity of their brief "conversation" was touching

I love the stories where Kaoru's a voyeur. And barechested Kenshin? Yummy. Great stuff!

Just one question: Shouldn't Kenshin be able to sense her ki when she gets within range?

The show doesn't always have time to get to little moments like this. I'm glad you've given some more depth to these characters. Kenshin's modesty was very cute too!
