Very nice. It's just one moment of thousands, but it defines (at least one version) the role of a guardian. Very appropriate to use Siren as the GF in this case of desiring freedom. You get to imply all those beautiful caged bird analogies without beating the fic or the audience to death.

Oh that was simply beautiful! I love the language and the anaologies used; the whole fic had a very serene, warm, poetic feeling to it. The ending was a little sad; I felt sorry for the Siren, and the caring w/which she regarded Quistis was touching. I really enjoyed this
