Wow this story was really beautiful.Everything was so believe able and the characters were not occ.I would have loved to have seen more romantic scenes between Kaoru and Enishi but I guess thats just the romantic in me.I cant wait to read the sequel.Looking forward to it.Great stroy.

WONDERFUL STORY! While I am a true K/K cannon fan I simply LOVE E/K fan fics and your's is BRILLIANT! I loved everything. I like stories where the feelings and romance grows at a logic and even somewhat slow pace. The emptions and feelings behind the characters were very heartfelt and I was able to picture everything in my head. Even though this fic based on the Jinchuu arc took the totally opposite turn you made it very plausible and kept everybody in character. I LOVED IT! BRILLIANT! WONDEFUL! This story was really really good and well thought out. God Bless you man, seriously. You make me wish that this happened in cannon xD Good job!

As for a sequel I think it would be great. A "trouble in paradise" fic spunds really cool packed with a lot of action. Maybe Karou and Enishi could go to China :D Oh! Oh! And then they meet up with the traveling Sanosuke, who finds out the hard way that they are together. I SENSE DRAMA! O DELAHLEH!

I read this in two days and enjoyed every bit. Great job at keeping everyone in character.

Oh my God, this story is fantastic! I should've found this fic earlier! Gosh, I just couldn't tear my eyes off my screen when I first started reading it, and I just kept reading without stop until I reached the very last chapter of this story... You wrote EniKao so well! Love the way you wrote Enishi and Kaoru's relationship, especially the angst part. *grins* Although I was quite disappointed when I saw how Kenshin reacted to the news of Kaoru being alive (yeah, I'm a big KK fan, but I also love the EK pairing), but since it's an EniKao fanfic, I guess it's okay to suppose that he never left Rakuninmura.

By the way, I have to say that I felt so traumatized when I saw Enish cut off Saitou's arm and foot... I love Enishi, though, yet I also love Saitou very much. The police officer has always been my favorite character in Rurouni Kenshin, so it's kind of scary to see Saitou duel with Enishi and ended up losing his arm and foot. Nevertheless, it's still an amazing fanfic. I really love how you wrote Enishi, he seems so real.

The epilogue is such a cliffy one. Now I'm very curious about what will happen to Kaoru and Enishi afterwards... Maybe the question is a bit blunt, but can you try to write a sequel of this fic? I absolutely adore this story, and the cliffy epilogue really intrigued my curiosity...

This was a one of the most poignant fanfictions I've ever read. Although I am a hardcore, and I mean hardcore, K/K fan, I am fond of the E/K pairing.

The scene where she asked Ken if he loved her and he reponded "I can't let myself" broke my heart, as his reaction to when they saw each other again. You made it sound as if he didn't love her and guilt-ridden or not, he undoubtedly should've loved her.

But this is EniKao and I see why you had to do that.

Oh and poor Saitoh... that was just pitiful. I may not be a huge Saitoh fan but I felt for the guy.

What I especially liked about this story is how accurate you portrayed Enishi. It was as if he were a character that belonged to you.

I totally love this fic... so beautiful.. a complete Genius... so.. are you making a sequel? It'll be so GREAT! ^_^

That was a wonderful story. I quite enjoyed reading it. I even stays up too late doing so.

I just wanted to tell you that this story is phenomenal. I loved it! It wasn't the normal, sugary sweet romance, you know? It was differnent and touching and well written and TOTALLY awesome. I love how Kaoru and Enishi finally came together in the very end. Rock on!

LOVED IT! To be honest i am kinda glad that there was no lemon in the story (and i dont usually mind them!) because it wouldnt really have fit in i think. Anyway this was such a good story, i just love Enishi and Kaoru. Happy Easter! :)

Enishi is probably my favorite RK character and I love your take on him. The way the relationship between Kaoru and Enishi develops is beautiful and believable. I really enjoyed this fic.

Well, that's the best Rk fanfic I could ever read: you've got a grasping writing, with much sensibility and a knack for introspection!
I always was an "Enishi-psycho-freak-bastard" fan, and I liked Kaoru-dono, but you just found the words I lacked to give them their true emotional depth.
