The only thing that's making me twitch in this story so far is 'Bob'. Really? Can you please put in something, somewhere, preferably soon after you introduce him, that it isn't his real name and is a nickname? Please? Because if his name is seriously plain Bob I think I'm going to cry. (can't it Robert and he thinks it sounds too formal so he goes by Bob? Or something? I'm begging you!)

Apart from that, this is shaping up to be rather interesting and readable (ie no Lols, omg, excessive author notes, so on and so forth - ::shudders::)
