I hate being formal with this review, but i feel that i'll get my message across better if i do. Now to begin, this is a wonderful story. Simple as that. Its not the best written story i've ever read, and its not the best idea i've ever seen (although, even though its not your own, it is a VERY good idea), it will undoubtible stay with me for the rest of my life. Now i'm not saying it has changed my life of anything, its just your story was one i doubt i'll ever be able to forget. Why, you ask? Its because of the emotions, the feelings that you put in it. While reading your story, i felt like i was right there alongside Maggie, i felt her emotions as her many trials piled up on her. It is the very rare author that can get me to do that. Now, i must ask. Have you ever read the entire Lord of the Rings series? If you have, you might understand a little of what i have to say. When reading LotR, there was a ridiculous amount of things written, that, in my opinion, didn't necessarily need to be there, but yet, i still read ever page, every word written. You know why? Because i was reading a story. I wasn't reading the plot, i wasn't reading the grammer, nor even the idea. i was, plain and simple, reading a story. And you know what? it was a really good one. Your story is similar, and yes, i say story, not fanfiction. I term the two in VERY different categories, for a fanfiction is what a fan wants to happen, what a fan wants to make a perfectly good story a little better in their eyes. A story, on the other hand, is a completely different happening, taking something, mixing it with something else, and when its done, its a it becomes a new thing, a new story. Now, when i finished reading your profile, i found that you came to a wrong conclusion, you are by no means a bad writer. In my opinion, you have a gift that very few writters have, you can pull you readers along in your story, and no matter what you write, they'll read it, hands down. I highly encourage you to keep writing, even if you don't continue your original works (though i would be very pleased if you did). If ever you do, send me a message and i'll glady read it.

Maggie's on a lot of drugs? Nice excuse...some fanfic writers, I just don't get, no offence, but anyway, it seems like a fun litte story...51 chapters...big story, so I'll keep checking

So you've been spending more than five years of your life writing a self-insertion fic where both Seifer AND Squall fall for you?

Your character is a sue. You might get beaten up sometimes, but the range of abilities you get, the fact that you get away with so much, and that everyone seems to have a thing for you (at one point, it even looked like Irvine wanted a piece of you, and we can add Reno in there too) all point to this fact.

You certainly have a lot of fans, and if they like this story, all the power to them. You are also entitled to write what you like. Just know that objectively speaking, this fic needs considerable improvement, with most of it stemming from the way you've made Maggey. Even if a swarm of fans try to list off justifications for this stories shortcomings, I suspect that if you personally take a step back, you'll see what I'm talking about.

That is not to say you are a bad author, however. I've looked at some of your other stories and they are considerably better. It's just that you appear to have made some bad judgement calls with this fic in particular.

This has Awesomeness All over it. And boy do I love Awesomeness! Keep up the good work!

Hmm, it must just be me, but I really loved how your writing style and how Maggie developed throughout the story.

The first few chapters, the story reeked of Mary-Sue, but then...

ta-daa! Mid-way through, I could say that my nose was practically pressed against the monitor.

Omg it's back! And has been for...about six months?(and Where have I been? I haven't reviewed this for FOUR years!!) I should have reviewed this a long, LONG time ago, come to think of it...but before that (what was it, a year?) update break, I loved this story because, for one, the long chapters kept me busy and entertained and I enjoy long chapters, and for two, I think it's really original! Especially with the way you make the GFs. And I also like how there can still be humor in such serious situations (Wait, did I say before? Well, I still love those things about it)! And considering this story has been here for about five years, I'm surprised I still stuck with it(found it again when I was searching my review history)! But I'm glad I did. And if I didn't fave this from my last review, I will now. Great fic!

This was a good start, but it needs a little more detail if I'm going to continue reading. For example, Maggie just suddenly knew how to handle her pistols. There was no explanation, like if she went hunting, or the PS2 guided her on this. Also, killing another soldier. Killing may be glamorized in stories and movies, but killing someone for the first time is probably going to be really hard on her, even if it is a game. Everything is more real to her now than playing it as a game, and it would affect Maggie a lot more than us having Squall take out a soldier. It's a great start, and Maggie isn't acting Sue-ish at all, but it needs work.

awsome chapter for an awsome story. please continue to write because want to see the end of the story , even it takes over 100 chapters.

I really love this story... even though Seifer aint what I had expected him to be... I read all 51 chapters in 3 6 hour sessions and I can tell ya... IT WAS WORTH IT.
I honestly cant wait until the next chapter.
