I lurve this. Honestly I just wanted to see if and how you were going to pull off the old-school thing you said in the summary, and, well, you really did. Your attention to detail was exquisite.:) I even imagined the whole thing playing in black and white. Deling's a great setting for your fic by the way. Good choice.:) And bravo, finally someone made a Seiftis without too much angst. It seems everybody else here wants them to go to hell and back before getting together, lol.

Oh and even though I checked this out 'cause I'm a rabid Seiftis fan, I would've loved this just the same if it had different characters in it. And c'mon, it doesn't really borrow that much from the FF8 world. It's like an original story that happened to have Quistis and Seifer as the characters. And in this case, that's actually good.

One thing though, I'm curious as to how the original ending for this went. Maybe you could post that up? Just for kicks?:)

I am infinitely glad to have discovered your page. Your writing style is very distinguished. Your choice of words is just right: appealing to all five senses, never verbose, and with a sophisticated touch of abstract ideas and difficult-to-express emotions. You are especially gifted at characterization, and in this fic, have neatly captured the essence of both Seifer and Quistis...particularly through well-crafted dialogue, natural but still refreshing. The overall whimsy of the story delights me to no end. I like how Seifer's and Quistis' roles are in a way switched, and the danger immanent in their relationship. It especially tickles me to know that Seifer ultimately wins the underwear bet. Well, you've probably figured out by now that I am thoroughly in love with your writing. Cheesy? Don't be silly! Everyone loves a happy ending =) I was scared at first too because you made it seem like Quistis wouldn't give in to Seifer's charms. Thank god she did =)
And man you have a way with the dialogue here. Reminds me of those old romance movies like Gone With the Wind, the dialogue was so perfect, as it is here. I especially loved“Kiss me, Quistis. Like you did before. Only mean it this time.”One question, that line sounds 100 times familiar to me, did you happen to get it out of a movie or song? I'm sorry but it just strikes such a deja-vu feeling for me. My apoligies if that line was totally original.
What else can I say, Ripley, you are such a great writer. I have read a lot of your work recently and I just hope that when I get to the end of it, you'll still have more coming =)

This was definitely an ending that Seifer and Quistis deserved, and it wasn't at all cheesy. As a matter of fact, I loved it. You really brought out the passion between those two and this piece really made me smile. The dialogue especially was wonderful; you must have really been able to play this out in your head. Great, great Seiftis.

Hehe...I do like that ending better than a tragic one. T'was very sweet...and the fic made sense. The whole idea that they loved each other for so long, but didn't realize it- 'tis often overdone, but you did it quite well.
