I wanted to highlight the part that begins with 'tears' but apparently the right click to copy function has been disabled here. That section made me want to weep! Wonderful work, really moving, beautifully written:)

Lovely idea, absolutely touching ending and very clever use of an inner monologue! And what an original idea for a PotC fanfiction - this is very different from what I have ever read in that genre before.
