That's weird... you haven't read the 5th book, but this fits with the 5th book so well... and I know why you don't want to read it... I kept putting off finishing it, cuz i didn't want to get to the death... I was randomly bursting into tears for weeks... and I'd start crying harder if anyone asked me what was wrong... ANYWAY, back to your story. It was AMAZING. The last line gave me chills. It was extremely well written. Good job!

you haven't read the fifth book?... that makes your story make a hellava lot less sense. still very good but i'm wondering why the book remains unread. however dark it is still harry potter.. be off with you now. go and read it.

Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. I love how you use the coffee as a... what do you call it... plot device? metaphor? to take Remus through his life. I've always thought that his adult life was really marked only by when he was with Sirius and when he didn't have him anymore. Let's see... I love your use of repetition, showing how every morning is the same and yet special. And I adore the last line - "Coffee no longer existed in the mornings." Beautiful.

this seems a little pointless (dont take that the wrong way) but its really cool anyway - i love it! also, i dont believe in coincidences (mostly) and i was a little freaked out by the fact that i just finished reading your fic 'sleepless' (which is also great) and then went to this one and found that it was by the same author. hm... strange forces at work here... keep on writing!

sirius dies in the fifth book. so your ending is eerily appropriate. mourn for sirius black!
