I absolutely loved it! It was really interesting how you retold the story of Miroku's father dying in your own style. And I noticed that you worked in some lines from the episodes that discuss this scene into it. Nice job on that. Your portrayal of Miroku's emotions was also really good, and I loved how you contrasted the overall sadness of the story with a happy ending. Excellent.

There are some spelling errors, but they're not that big of a deal. Overall, it was really good. Thanks for a great story.

Oh, and, as an added thing, I am so sorry about your mother. I recently lost my grandfather to thyroid cancer, so I can definetely emphathize. Take as long as you need before coming back to your stories. Just know that we'll be waiting patiently.

Sorry for being so late on it. It really is a wonderful tail, giving such emotional insight to how it might have been for Miroku growing up as the child of a cursed monk.

You did a wonderful job, and the ending - heehee - and you say you can't do comedy! Was very funny!

I enjoyed reading this Kaen. A lot of people don't think to go dwelling into the past and trying to development a story "pre" Inuyasha-tachi, but I'm glad you did. It gave us an insight into the emotions and feelings Miroku was going through when he was a child.

I really did like the feel and expression of his emotions. You did a wonderful job and I look forward to your other work. ^-^
