XD write a sequel, k? it will be good to know how strong Hikaru is, knowing that he stopped himself from playing Go all those years.. but still looking at kifus.. it would be interesting to know how he grows towards becoming as strong as Sai.. XD

Orodruin 2007-06-06 ch 6,	abuseAw. The ending was so sweet and Hikaru finally decided to play Go... It made me all nostalgic... or something. I like angsty stories especially when they have a happy ending, and especially when there's Go thrown in their somewhere, so... yeah, I really liked it. But it's only the beginning of Hikaru's journey into the world of Go. I'm sure there are still many troubles waiting for him, because all of his bitter-sweet memories pertaining to the board and the game won't go away just like that. I can imagine that he would still have a bit of a difficult time getting back into actually playing, and if he ever decided to go pro, he'd get a lot of grief over being Sai's brother and all. Many painful subjects would be brought up quite often. Heheh, I could imagine Hikaru going kind of reclusive when a reporter asks him about his style resembling Sai's, and then Waya getting all defensive and angry on his behalf... Yeah... there are some brief, vague ideas of things you could work into a sequel if you decide to do one. Anyway, it was nice... if you can call a fic about a guy's brother being dead nice.

I was kind of surprised Akira had heard of Hikaru... but I suppose as such a famous Go player, nothing of Sai's life would have been left unknown, even the fact that he had a younger brother. I guess... Anyway, I felt a need to review when I noticed what you said in your author notes about Sai's last name being Shindo... I was just thinking, he could have been Fujiwara Sai if he was half-brothers with Hikaru. It would also make sense since he's ten years older. Maybe their mother had some relationship with some guy when she was young and, well, Sai was the outcome. Then she married Shindo, so Sai would have his father's last name (or his mother's maiden name) and Hikaru would have his father's... Just a thought, but, of course, I realize you're already finished with this story, so it's probably not going to change any.

Ao yuki 2006-09-07 ch 6,	abuseNice! There's really not a lot of good Hikaru fics you know. I can only manage to find 3 out of the many in that are good. I could recomend the fic 'Fujiwara' to you. It's really good.
