That, I actually did not find so sad. Dreary, mostly, but not so terribly sad. It ended happy. that was good.

I love this story! I linked through from your SSP on HA, and I'm glad I did! I'm a huge fan of stories written about people in Middle-earth that are not part of the regular cast of characters. I feel that it expands even more on the world of Tolkien. Thanks for sharing it.
