I have always been a fan of Xanth and you seem to capture its magic pretty well, even in just the first chapter.

I hope you finish more soon.

The only problem I saw was a spelling error when you referred to Samantha's talent.

You put 'He' instead of 'She'.

LOL, that is alright though, I knew what you meant and that is what counts the most. _

I LOVE Xanth, and your story is coming along quite nicely. I can't wait for the next chapter, I can already tell that I'm going to be a regular reviewer.

I know some of these people! Marcus, Jessie, Aunt Lana. It's really interesting to see them in a story instead of in an RP.

It's also interesting to read a story written by a guy. Most stories I read are written by girls, probably because we're all interesting in similar things. It's not too often I'm inspired to read a guy's story.
