I'm glad I took the time to read this story. It really blew me away, I never read a story from ROB perspective before. The way you ended was very smart, giving everyone what they wanted but still leaving some room for mystery. I had read somewhere that you're writing a continuation to this story, which I wouldn't mind reading, not all. Well I hope you continue writing and hopefully I'll see you in the next story.

WOW. That's all I can say. Just WOW. But in a very, VERY good way.

Hello Ring;

I'd like to say that I very much enjoyed this story. It speaks to what science may eventually achieve and holds it in a better light than the usual "evil android" stories that I'm so bored with. Your writing is good but, sometimes, not well thought out or edited. You have a tendency to use a similar thought and speech pattern with all of your characters as if they aren’t the individuals that I can imagine them being. You also greatly misuse particular words; such as "their and there". You also seem not to know the difference between "then and than". Both of these traits can make understanding what is happening very difficult, but I am not any less entertained when I figure out what is going on...or what I may conclude is going on.

In conclusion, good concept, nice story, bad grammar and voice.

Best Regards,

God damn you, Ring! I resisted reading this one for over a year (I'm still not quite sure why), and now I've just devoured the first two chapters.

You know, I've never thought of ROB like this, instead of being a frigid **, he's sweet, innocent, and seeing him experience things for the first time, things that we all take for granted, is somehow heart warming.

**, now I want to read more and finish it but I have got to go to class! Rats. Damn you. :P I wish I had talent like this.

This is the first Starfox Fanfiction I've ever read and it is fantastic. There may not be much action in it, but that's why it's so different from everything else.

How in the universe did you get so amazing. This was... like a novel, a really good novel. I'm very glad that you haven't quit writing, because the community would lose something.
Everything was flawless, with the characters, old and new (and old becoming new) and... the whole idea of the.. synthetic bodies, and cyborgs and...
Red Hammer is awesome. That's all I have to say.
I'm guessing this one and "Enemy Mine" run on different storylines entirely though. No matter. It was still amazing. All of it is.
Beautiful.

I really like this story. I love the way ROB is portrayed (with an ACTUAL personality). I also like how you kept all of the characters involved.

Just started reading this fic and thought I should review since its such a great story! I wish I could write like this but I cant bring myself to write any of my ideas down. Im not sure if this is the end, but if it is its a great way to end it!

Just bloody brilliant. You've always known how to pull all the right heartstrings, even in your early SF fics. Your style is elegantly to-the-point and it really pulls the reader in--I had to read all the chapters in one sitting. I love and loathe you your talent, I'll have you know. I won't be able to think of ROB ever again without this fic coming to mind.

And with that, your story finally comes to an end. While it's always sad to see a story of yours end, I'm glad to see that you're already working on many others. Now to wait to see what you do next.

Overall, an excellent fic that focuses on a character that so rarely (if ever) gets any attention.

Brilliant, beautiful, philisophical, moving, and thought provoking. It had been a while since I read, but I caught up and couldn't help but be brought to tears by it. Andrea's first words did the trick, so poignant. Thank you so much for writing Ringshadow.

Such a complicated life that ROB now leads. Savior of half a million, yet it may be the end of him to do so.

I've also come to the conclusion that you offer a cliffhanger almost every single chapter. Why must you torture us so? As always, I'll eagerly await what happens next.

So many complications. Dang. How will it all resolve?

You must finish!
