Hm, I think that a lot of people are missing out on this story, which is really good even if you are a diehard B/L fan and not too fond of Harry/Leena pairings.

I think you've done a great job of portraying Harry. I LOVED his sudden insight as to how he was able to stay in Leena's presence longer by keeping quiet...only to be foiled by his overpowering romantic nature in the end anyway.

The failures of the Blitz Team are almost a shame. Poor Leena. She does try. Her complaints to Harry about their losses, including her list including Kirkland repeatedly, really do keep to her personality in the show. It's not like she's falling all over herself realizing what a prize Harry is or anything. I think that is really the only way it would reasonably work between the two of them...for her to have no one else to listen to her. Almost an accidental affection.

Plus there is that whole Carnage Team dark element in the story.

You have a knack for balancing suspense with humor. Harry and his poor choice of words, getting accused of being a pervert. He really does have the best of intentions.

I am already hopelessly intrigued - nice cliffhanger ending!

I suspected Kirkland was the mysterious team member from the description of his garb, but the "run and shoot" comment was the dead giveaway. Wow, character death already - I love how Kirkland still has his voracious appetite, yet is portrayed as someone deeply affected by the loss of his comrades.

Harry's interpretation of Leena's preoccupation was perfectly in character.

All around - a tale that follows your history of plain ol' fashioned honestly good story telling!
