that story had me to blive it was not a dream. any way the story where Kaoru and Yumi are best friends seem very good and you did say that it was a little after the war and well is Tomoe going to be Kenshin first lover but died but if dont make it like that it would be great but if you did it any ways i think it would be ok. it just am a big fan of Battousai/ kaoru / Kenshin.

A good thing too, considering I just read your other story, "When Something Changes" and it put me in a very depressed state. I feel so horriblwe for Kenshin now! Woah! I certainly *hope* this is only a dream!. I sure can't picture Soujiro from "A Memory Forgotton" as possesive of Kaoru in any way. In fact, he's doing everything he can to try and help her find out about her past and her home and family, plus, though the story hints that he may be developing feelings for Kaoru, he's really very gentlemanly and adorably shy around her!. I have a feeling that when Kenshin and Kaoru are finally reunited, Soujiro will just smile cheerfully, "Nice to see you again, Himura-san! Take good care of Kao-chan!", bow politely, leave... then break down and cry the minute he was alone again!. LOL! Poor kid!.

*scratches head* I haven't read "A Memory Forgotten" but you've piqued my interest! lol, i sincerely enjoyed this one-shot, and keep up your amazing writing!

Hey, wanted to thank you for all the wonderful reviews! Also wanted to tell you how much this made me laugh! It's halarious! Kenshin faces Shinsengumi, evil mummies, pirates, gatlin guns...

But his greatest fear? Soujirou! The hordes of smiling kids was a great touch.

Kaoru and Yumi, like sisters? Both in Kyoto with Shishio? Kaoru and Kenshin enemies? Sounds great to me! Go for it!
