This is good but the message I feel is confused. IT starts to come across as one thing and ends up well I'm not sure. Even the powm at the beginning seems to not really fit in with the fic except for right at the end. The ending is also rather cut off...maybe it would have been better if someone other than Elrond became aware that elrond felt for his son or what ever. say the twins coming in and seeing elrong reading it.

still the emotion shows through well in this and i did like the letter itself as well as the image of elrond sending troops to stop aragorn's entering...though i don't imagine the twins would allow such a thing it still amsuing to think of :)

Poor Aragorn...and Elrond. Their estrangement is heartbreaking, especially since neither wants it. I hope you wrote a sequel story to this!

I thought I was one of the few who knew that song! When I read the title the song instantly popped into my head and I nearly screamed when I saw that you were using it! It's a really good songfic (or at least quasi-songfic)
