Puppyshipping is definitely my favorite pairing- I love the adversarial banter, the witty barbs that are exchanged, and above all the "I hate to love you but I do" nature of it. This was extremely well written, and I applaud your ability to get into the heads of Seto and Katsuya!

The first step is to admit you have a problem.

I love 'Surprise! Established relationship' fics. As with thw others I have read I always go back and re-read to see if I missed anything. I really liked how smoothly this transitioned. When I re-read it, it just fit.

I can almost see them doing something like this. It seems so like them.

Along with the smoking, that deffinitly seemes like something Joey would do.

Keep up the awsome writing and probablt acurit pradections.

I really enjoyed your fic. Kaiba and Jou both seemed really in character and that's hard to do when the original characters actually really hate each other. I was a little surprised when Kaiba pulled Jou behind the building, it was kind of sudden. But arguing back and forth like they were, rather than just shooting barbs at each other is really nice to read.

*sighs dreamily* You write these two so perfectly in-character, so snarky and sexy and RIGHT, that it's become impossible for me to tolerate 99% of JouKai fics that do it wrong.

... And who the hell would think that as a bad trade? lol I sure as hell wouldn't... Not that I smoke anyway, but you catch my drift (wink) lol

And I have to agree that number postively characterized romantic relationship fics between these two are lacking... they are both pretty manly guys and not cute and fluffy like Yuugi. lol ... Though I do like my KaiJou fluff too lol

Wow. Really, your one of the only authors that can really capture their relationship in a way that is true to the characters, Joey in particular. Wimpering dog Joey is so cliche'd and so out of character, and yet so prominant in fanfiction that i almost decided to quit reading JouKais - but you got it just right. And it's fics like this that addict me and force me to read more. People forget that Joey has not had an easy life, canonly he's a bit streety and rought around the edges, and you captured that perfectly.

Smoking wise, i thought it was appropriate and a nice vise for the story. It also as i pointed out earlier gave Joey his edge, and whatsmore somthing for kaiba to play off.

Incidently as far as this fic is concernd, it was kaibas insults and the transitions from snide to song, how well they were pulled off, that i liked the most (particually the kaiba insults. Not only in character but also creative)!
