I like the way you wrote this, it's hard to write in present tense. You also made it very realistic with half the text being Kagome's thoughts.

It's nice to see Kagome with a sense of humor and being a normal school girl for a little bit.

The structure of the story is great and you more than met the challange.

Very, very, very good! *applause* It's always good to test yourself when you're writing. And I think you pulled it off. Def. a fav.

It's rare that I see a good present tense fic, but this is definitely one of them.

Wow... Present tense is really hard to write, but you nailed it here. I like your style very much. It's prose, but it's also a bit poetic. It is a bit hard to understand at first, but that seems to be part of your style, and all you really need to do is figure out what each viewpoint is.

I wonder, when Kagome wrote, "It shows his heart to her." Did she mean to herself or to Kikyo, or does she even know?

Well anyway, this was definetly more deserving of your time than any math class I've ever seen...

great fic! I love that sort of reflective stuff... and you did great on the present tense, I have to usually just stick the the past tense, or switch when I'm writing from first person... well, you did a great job... 'feh' hehehehe

Wow, another great story! Again, wonderful internal dialogue and some interesting character insights. Loves the notes Kagome passes to her friend in math class!
Just on a side note, since you mention that your best creative impulses seem to come during math class...I think the creative side of your mind is being freed because the logic/censor side of your brain is occupied with the math problems.
There's a theory that just before falling asleep, the logical side of your brain closes down before the creative side does, hence those wonderful moments of inspiration just as you're dozing off...
I'm an old chick now and thankfully free of math classes (which were the bane of my life in high school and college), but whenever I'm stuck on a story or plot point, I find that working on a jigsaw puzzle tends to entice the Muse. Just my two cents.
Anyhow, great job--you're a gifted writer, and I hope you keep telling stories.

That was great! I confess it took me til about halfway down to work out what she was writing on the page, but it was perfect. A charming little ficlet ^_^ Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Fine holiday fun.

Kudos to you for the tense and POV. I find both extremely hard myself and you pulled them off nicely!

WAH! NEE-CHAN! SO PRETTY~ :O

I weally enjoyed it. It kinda confused me, though, the 'three POVs thingie'.
But then I read it again and solved the whole mystery out. *nodnods*

I really enjoyed it. Really really, and thought I should let you know. ^-^
