Wow! Not really being a fan of "script format" fanfiction, I was still drawn in by this story. I loved the ongoing theme; the paralleling of the father/son issues. I also loved the way you worked in incidents from several past episodes. It really added depth to the characters and the story. I would love to see this as an actual episode!

Normally I'm not a fan of fan fic in the form of scripts but I thought this was well written and I could see it as an actual episode. I always wondered why Purdy was still Johnny's guardian since he was out of the coma and of reasonable sound mind and body and this explains it very well. I hope you write more.

Excellent! The best comment I can make here is that if this had been a filmed episode of the show, it would be one of my favorites!
I think this is the most in-character DZ story I have read to date. Two plots, both of them expertly handled.
I hope to see more of your work in the future.

This was a seriously amazing story. The intricacies of the visions and their real meanings was very well thought out. The script format made it very easy to read. The dialogue and characterization was right on the money. Ever since I discovered the Dead Zone, I've always been facinated by Gene's relationship with Johnny, especially his being Johnny's guardian. I've been looking for a story that investigated that relationship and yours did so brilliantly. Well done.
