really really great story. You should definitely write another. You have truely captured the essence of the GH and Kato.

It's been years since an update, but I've read this fic and wish to say I hope it does get an update again in the future.

In the immortal words of Oliver Twist: "please, sir, may I have some more?"

Loved the references: Clayton Moore Federal Penitentary, G. W. Trendle Hospital, Fran Striker Expressway, etc. And Bert & Ernie for the cops! (A natural nickname for Hubert Jones & Ernesto Gonzalez. I once named a space yacht in a "Firefly" story for a character from "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.") Liked the reference to defensive driving class - rather like the Princess' chaffeur in the late Dick Francis' "Break In," where he mentioned in passing he took a class in how to avoid having one's employer kidnapped. Naturally Kato passed at the top of his class. Good action chapter.

Nice bit of background.

A few more greats than in the radio version, but being updated, that's necessary. I like keeping the silver mine a secret. And something happened between the Lone Ranger and Tonto, beyond "he went back to his tribe." Maybe Tonto expected the Lone Ranger to fight racist attitudes in addition to crime, and left him when the Ranger didn't?

"Snowballs instead of bullets" - nice line. And lovely inside joke with Van Williams' Trucks.
