An excellent Saiyuki story, although I have two nits to pick Gonou became a youkai a little before he killed Isou, it's Kanan, not Kannan, and I think both eyes were still functional when he killed Isou. However, I enjoyed the way you described Gonou's transformation, and hope to see more of such works.

Do we all not wish we owned Hakkai? ;)
