Stephanie is a good person for saving Hunter. I swear, he has taken her through so much hell and one could say that he deserved to be hit by that car because he's pretty evil...and yet she saved him.

I hope Hunter changes after this. A near-death experience should have an impact on him and make him see the error of his ways. I'm sure he realizes that Stephanie easily could've let him get run over...

Chris is awesome. So happy that he would've saved Hunter as well. Even with Hunter being as hateful as he is towards Chris, it feels good to know that Chris would never stoop to such a low level.

Great chapter. Now I wonder how this will change Hunter's ways and how it will affect the custody battle.

Holy crap, my eyes are as big as saucers right now! I keep thinking, maybe we can just be rid of Hunter, maybe he'll get hit by a car and then ran over by a bus, please can he get hit by a bus?! But the other part of me is thinking, Oh no, he can say that Stephanie pushed him into the street so that he can't get possibly get custody of Keagan. It would be so him to pull something like that! So now I kind of hope the car didn't hit him.

I'm glad Steph still isn't giving in to his stupid lies and empty promises. She sees right through him, he should know by now that she knows him too well.

Really good chapter, I think the almost getting hit by a car has open H's eyes somewhat and maybe the custody fight wouldn't be so much a fight? I have no clue but I loved this chapter as I LOVE ALL OF THEM. (and no that wasn't my caps lock button getting hit by mistake). I can't wait to see what else happens in this story it's just so good.

Maybe now Hunter will stop acting like a jack*ss...though that's debatable. This could become some convoluted idea that Stephanie *did* do this out of her unspoken love for him, and make him all the more obsessed with getting her back. Or it could do the opposite...knock some sense into his pigheaded @ss!

Anyways, if Paul realize the good thing Stephanie just did then he really is an idiot. She saved him for her daughters sake and the fact that chris wouldve done the same thing just totally melted my heart ;) I hope all of this changes Paul's mind. Hunter was such a freaking asshole in this, he really was - I'm glad Stephanie saw through his lies, which were easy to see through, and told him where to get off. I really like the direction you're taking this in, it's awesome, which has always been a word to describe this story. I can't wait for more.

So is it wrong of me to say that i hope he gets hit by that car O_o ...but then again i don't! Seeing how low hunter can go, he might just blame it on steph! Ugh! I cannot stand him! he has some nerve saying that he "loves" stephanie. How can he just continue to turn ferris away..? He's so cold! I was glad when paul asked stephanie to think back to when they were together and all she could think about was the bad times...she has chris now and she doesnt need to remember all that ;) I have grown attached to every single character in this story, especially Keagen and Ferris! :D I love this story! I can't really say I understand the mind of Hunter. Why he hates Chris and why he thinks Stephanie isn't over him now or can ever be. He clearly isn't thinking straight. I hate to say it...but I actually feel sorry for the guy cause he's alienating everyone and it's his own doing. Time for a big reality check. Love the story still. :)

Hunter has some freaking nerve! I hate him so much and this chapter just made that hatred stronger. There have been times during this story that I felt sorry for that ignorant douche, like when he found out that Ferris was really Chris's daughter and not his own, but after reading this chapter I'm not sure if I could ever have sympathy for him again. How dare he plot to steal Stephanie away from Chris? Why the hell does he carry so much hatred for Chris in his heart? It's ridiculous, the lengths he'd be willing to go to just to get revenge on Chris...

I can't believe how plain evil Hunter's mind is. He was planning to steal Stephanie back and get women who lived closer so he could sleep with them at their houses instead of the one he'd be getting with Steph... Imagine that, planning to cheat on her before he even got her back! And he was going to leave Ferris out in the cold, just because she's not his daughter? You'd think that he'd want to still be a father figure to her since he thought she was his for so long... Did he ever even love the little girl? He's just such a bastard, I can't express enough how much I'm hating him right now.

For a minute there, I was fearing that Steph might take him back. I thought she'd be a little vulnerable to him because she loved him so much before...they were married so I figured she might still have a soft spot for him somewhere. But she saw right through him, saw that he just wanted revenge on Chris and would be getting it by stealing her back...and I love that she just left him high and dry...

She did leave him high and dry, right?

I can't wait until Chris finds out about Hunter's failed plan...
