Aries Zodiac 2006-06-02 . chapter 5I liked your story- the flashbacks and how they fitted in as well as the main storyline. Iliked your writing style as well, you're very good, both with characterisation and the small but vitally important twins of grammer and spelling!
I didn't think Rochelle's death was unrealistic- sadly not!
I disagree with your last line though. Drunk driving is a global epidemic and a global disgrace.
Please keep writing.

AnneWithane 2004-01-07 . chapter 5Just had to come read this story again and leave you another review telling how marvelously done this is. |
AnneWithane 2003-10-30 . chapter 5How utterly appropriate that I first found this story during Red Ribbon Week. We used to do a play very much like the one you describe when I was in high school, which is getting to be longer ago than I care to admit.
I was afraid the first time I read this story that you weren't going to get the number or kind of praise-filled reviews you deserve due to some of the subject matter in this story, but I'm happy to see that I was wrong on that count.
This is, quite simply, one of the finest stories I've ever read. Emotional, genuine, and sensitive of both the WW universe, and the non-WW-related subject matter. Beautifully, beautifully done.
And I'll just parrot what NooneOfConsequence said in terms of JB and sobriquet. :-)
I added you to my Author Alert list, and hope that I'll be getting lots of alerts in my inbox. :-) |
Christine 2003-10-25 . chapter 1 I absolutely loved this fan fic! It was so good, one of the best I've read! Nice job! |
LynnM 2003-10-25 . chapter 5Absolutely beautiful story! Your characterizations, dialogue and plot are fabulous. Thank you for writing. |
Mockingbird4 2003-10-24 . chapter 5Amazing. Characterization was great, everything was great. |
Anjali Organna 2003-10-23 . chapter 5 That was so good. I love your use of words and language--your dialogue is one of your strengths--it's totally Sorkian. And I really thought the flashbacks were very effective and elegantly done. |
canyr12 2003-10-23 . chapter 5Wow...that's incredibly powerful and extremely well written. Hats off. |
Anjali Organna 2003-10-22 . chapter 2 Hey, really nitpicky thing here: I think in the West Wingverse, Bartlet won in 1998--to conicide with the real time airdates. So your Manchester date should be April 1998.
But seriously, no worries at all about anything else--you are one of my favorite ww authors! |
Perri Smith 2003-10-22 . chapter 5Okay, so, as usual, I finish one of your stories torn between smiling and sniffling. Really excellent characterization on Will, Zoey and Josh; I also loved how you portrayed Josh and Donna's friendship, and Charlie's relationship with Zoey. Excellent handling of a very difficult topic, and the integration between the SADD program and Zoey's kidnapping was beautifully done. Bravo! |
NoOneOfConsequence 2003-10-21 . chapter 2You referred to Joshua Bell and used the word sobriquet. You are my freakin' hero. A Marguerite fanfic alert in my mailbox is enough to make my day. Great stuff, my friend. Great stuff indeed. I'm looking forward to the rest of the story. Why didn't John "Futhermucker" Wells hire you? Why? Why? Seriously, though, you are - without a doubt - the best fanfic writer I've ever read. |
