I really love this story - "Monsoon Wedding" is one of my favorite movies too! Its so cool that there is a "Monsoon Wedding" fanfic on here. I've been hoping that the site would include a category for it in the movie section - but so far, NOTHING!

Have you seen "Bend It Like Beckham", or "Bhaji on the Beach"? You should think about seeing them. If you loved "Monsoon Wedding" you'll probably love those movies too.

Brilliant! Monsoon Wedding was an awesome movie, and Law & Order SVU is an amazing show, but I never would have thought of putting them together. Really well written, but it may be confusing for someone who hasn't seen the movie. If you give some background when they talk to the detectives, it was be a bit easier to understand. But GREAT job. I can't wait to see what you do with this.
