Saavik13 3/31/09 . chapter 5that was WONDERFUL! |
C. A. LeSabre 9/11/06 . chapter 5I so loved this trilogy! You have given me the story I always wished would happen...far, far better & more satisfying than "Space, Time, & the Incurable Romantic." Thank you so much! I think I'm going to believe in your version as canon from now on :) |
Indygodusk 4/18/06 . chapter 5Yay! What a nice ending. It didn't surprise me at all that Marcus snuck out at the earliest opportunity. Good job and thanks! |
JL12 10/9/05 . chapter 5There are a lot of great stories on here. But You're a real writer. |
Sheila51 4/16/05 . chapter 5'Hans my Hedgehog'? Lovely end, but now yu have to write a sequel... And I will have a Gingerbread man, thanks! Oh and let loose one of thse Marie stories, I'd love to read one! |
Fondued Jicama 4/10/05 . chapter 5Ah, I agree. And I'm so glad you finished it. You left it with just enough to feed the imagination (on those gingerbread cookies, no less!) My brother and I held a heated discussion about the B5 movie that may or may not be made in the future; I was adamant about wanting the main cast there, with a LOT of screen time. His reply? "Their stories are told." In some cases, imagination is best. And for some stories, the end is...the end. How can Heroes live out the rest of their lives in peace if they continue to have adventures? If they continue to have stories written? They must be allowed to go about the last of their existences with dignity and normality. Hoorah to you for knowing that. ) |
Natters 3/30/05 . chapter 5Fabulous as usual! |
Aline82 3/27/05 . chapter 5So I finally do review your series: I really loved the idea of Marucs having a secret family. It is an interesting idea and did surprisingly fit the wohle lonely ranger plot line of B5. I almost cried while reading this last chapter. I truly hope you are going to write more I/M stories. Yours are great! |
pol 3/26/05 . chapter 5hurrah! so good to hear from you again, hilary! it was a lovely ending and not overdone, which i think happens far too easily in i/m stories. i also agree with you that it was a good place to stop, and i know i got closure with it anyway. thanks for taking the time to follow through with this story-i know it takes lots of effort to keep it up and i admire your ability to maintain that interest in it. yay for you again! love pol |
Phaser Lady 3/26/05 . chapter 5"His unicorns were intact for a bit longer." -lol, loved this line! "Goody, the Commander was back."-teeheehe! I'm furious that you're apparently done with this story. Nothing further? ARGH! Very good story, I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you. |
crazy-ranger 12/25/04 . chapter 4wangled... such a Marcus word. He didnt come out with enough britishisms in the show... he only had the three. I'm going to borrow a plunkett and mclean quote for a later fic: "Surrender is for w**kers!"- I can just see him coming out with that. Oh the premonition on B4... yes. Did you mention that in previous fics? I dont remember. Anyway, nice device... in slotted in well. Great... now I have to go work on a confrontation between these two... except not so civil as yours turned out... "What? You gonna throw yourself off the upper level of the Zocalo to show how selfless you are?" |
Phaser Lady 11/10/04 . chapter 4Excellent! I've just read your entire AU series up to this point. Bravo! THe first story I found a bit shaky (just my tastes), but you had me in your hold in the second story. Please, please continue this soon! |
Robin Floyd 11/9/04 . chapter 4Great story, I can tell this is a chapter you've been waiting a long time to write! :-) The idea that Marcus foresaw Susan's death in the timeslip on Babylon 4 is a particularly interesting one... My memory is dodgy on this point, was this ever alluded to in any 'canonical' source or is it something you came up with yourself? If so it's a clever addition, doesn't contradict what we know but puts quite a few things in a different light! |
Xenon 11/1/04 . chapter 4Aw. You big romantic! Usually Marcus and Susan Happy Ever After type stories don't convince me at all, but you handle this kind of thing better than most. The interplay is believable, and it's nice to see Susan show some emotion. Marcus's 'death' was the only time she ever really let go in the show, and it makes sense that the same thing could send her over the edge again. Older, maturer Susan promises to be interesting. |
mochii 10/31/04 . chapter 4Hilary as always I love your stories. This chapter is just how I imagined if Marcus came back into Susan's life. It's quite poignant. Please keep on writing when you have some spare time. Thank you so much for sharing. |
