well, lookee here, an update! huzzah. good stuff, as always. i loved all the talk about romance novels - especially since they are the works of PYRO! oh, i LOVE him... i find his job TOO funny... but hey, whatever works for him! gee, methinks there was some sort of parallelism between rogue's novel and her life? subtle. ;-) anyhoo, yay for all the detective work. but WAIT - they're sending ROGUE to talk to BELLE?!?!? okay, they're DEFINITELY not the sharpest fish in the sockets, if you know what i mean. damn, that's just ASKING for all hell to break loose! which would be amusing, i can't wait to see how that plays out! but yeah. intriguing, as usual. what with the plot thickening, and mysterious shadowy men - those are the best kind! cue the dramatic music, and keep it coming, quick like a bunny on crack.

Oh. Wow. Scott is really turing into that stupid uptight guy he was in TAS. Thanks for the realism, even if that IS a turn for the worse in his personality...Lance seems a bit less angry though. Ouch. This chapter is rather...biting. In a good way. Sigh. Poor Scott...The chances that Lorna and Alex are alive are slim, at least knowing the amount of deaths in your fics.

Oh i like Valerie. She's one of those characters you love to hate but heck she's come some guts to be standing up to Scotty. I'd like to hear some more about the X-Factor and maybe some more about the government and the X-men's realations. Doesnt seem like they are the best of friends now does it? The bit with Wanda was sutiably dark and i'm intrigued, wouldnt someone realise? After all the Professor can read minds and someone would recognise the scars right? Maybe not, anyway interesting development.

Lastly i loved the bit with Bobby and Scott talking about Nathan. "Please never say that again" that line had me in stitches, i could just picture the horror on Scott's face. And just a piece of trivia, when you end a radio conversation you dont say 'over and out' that's a common misconception. Saying 'over' means you want them to reply. It's just 'out'. Go impress people with that interesting fact. Anyway, good chapter and i'd like to see Scooters reaction to the news that his wee bro might be and most likely is dead. (whats it with you and dead characters BTW? Is it a ritual to kill off at least one per chapter or something?)

so, you hold conversations with inanimate objects a lot, huh? well, are they the kind that are SUPPOSED to talk back, like one of those fun parrots that records what you say, and can then play it back? cuz that MIGHT make an inkling of sense. but if you talk with, oh, let's say a pencil, then i think i'll be a bit worried. but then again, that WOULD explain a lot.
anyhoo, i digress. on to the chapter! geez, some depressingness here, eh? poor wanda. don't do drugs, drugs are bad! but GEEZ, hasn't anybody NOTICED?!?! i mean, she lives with HOW many people, many of which are annoying and would probably try and pry into her life? well, they're not doing a very good job at it. but hey, yay for her closet! i've ALWAYS wanted a walk-in closet. and a secret vault, for that matter. i'm jealous.
and yeah, then the rescue mission. i must say, scott was taking things a wee bit better than i was expecting! although the captain sure was a bitch! she's not really a people person, is she? i mean, even though i intensely dislike scott, even i wouldn't be THAT cruel! and that's saying something.
