I'm glad you enjoyed writing this, I really loved to read it. It was bitter sweet and touching. Great work.

A very lovely story indeed. First off, because you show the Iceman that I know and love. Not this new one, who's made completely of ice and runs around complaining and yelling all the time. Seems that with the X-Men getting 'Reloaded' Bobby lost his personality.

The relationship between Nathan and Bobby was very moving, and it just makes you feel all the more sad for both of them.

You know, you could have gone further with this story, though. That Iceman mini-series where he met with Opal again and met his 'son' (though that turned out to be a lie). That would have fit in very well with the story. But then again, this was the perfect ending.

One thing I also love is that you remember the true-love that Scott and Jean had. Not that B.S. that happened where Scott cheated on Jean with Emma, and then 5 minutes after Jean died, started making out with Emma on her grave. (I'm very bitter about that.)

You've got a great grasp of characters and interaction amongst them. I really do enjoy your work.

Yes, I agree with you, Bobby has been written as a stupid jerk/moron in most of the stories. (When he actually isn't) I love this story because... -> I love kids -> I love how you portrayed Bobby, props for that. :) -> and I really enjoyed reading this story in general.

I wouldn't say i hated Piotr exactly just on occassion i do...sometimes i really like him, but when i think about the Pete Wisdome situation (who incidently rocks) i just kinda wanna castrate the fool! Also the way he treated Kitty at times...he did die quite well even if it was a tad of a letdown but i suppose thats why it was so enetertaining to read. Hank's still my favourite though! *Winks*
Oh Cable slipping over in the kitchen was a classic thought which made me laugh outloud as was the thought of Bobby heping to pick him up, i once heard someone descirbe him as a tub of lard (Cable that is)...but then he was being rather annoying, but i didnt think it was stretching the point abit!

*tear tear* How sweet. I just love Drake -- he always was fun... 'xcept in the current Uncanny where he's all depressing. Cable was actually semi-sensative. How very OOC. :P I liked that there was a pic of Bobby and Nate on the mantal, very sweet. And the ref to the Pie incident -- possibly the BEST item Gambit ever charged -- CLASSIC!! I really enjoyed this fic, especially because it focused on the original five's comradrie. I always did like the X-Family. Lord I miss that in Uncanny... and even New. *sigh* Here's to hopin' for Reload. I hope you write more fics!! Adios.

Aww that was a really sweet chapter, it was kinda sad *sniff*. You right these characters so well it shows you really have a passion for them and it rubs off on the reader too.
Over here (In England) we are soo far behind in the comics its unreal lets put it this way Januarys comic was the one in which that stupid Ruskie Collossus kicked the bucket so i am surprised (and delighted) to here that Excaliber is coming back (although for me it just ain't gonna be the same with out Pete Wisdom).
Also in response to your note, i have to agree about the whole Alex thing, he irritates me to know end, something about the coma stuff and all that. But another member of the Summers who makes me sick just to look at (well ok i admit my feelings for himaint that extreme but u get the picture) is that damn Starjammer dad of theirs. He is so self centered gr!
Anyway love the story and i shall be devastated when you finish it but hope ful yu shall write some more fics of the same ilk sometime in the future!

I really like this story and the idea of it. You're a good writer and it runs very smooth. The thought of Bobby being a babysitter is just hilarious. Although, I have on small comment. I'm pretty sure that Iceman was Xavier's second student under Cyclops. After that came Warren, Hank, and then Jean. Different X-men plots say different things, but in the original, I believe Bobby was second. Other than that, the story is wonderful and get fun! Keep coming with more chapters!

Why do people love the summers so much i have an irrational hatred of all of them with the exception, perhaps, of Rachel. Jeans the one that bugs me the most she never did in the eary days but by incarnation 15 million and 1 (over exageration i know but it feels like that sometimes). Anyway awaiting the next update!

"The evil creature cackled" LOL! Y'know it took me the better part of a year, but I managed to brainwash my little brother out of liking the Purple Dinosaur from Hell, and I've never been happier. Once again, I gotta tell ya that the only one who thinks you can't write Hank is you. I hope to see him in the Parakeet/Snowman soon. (Hopefully, before he became addicted to soaps) And the last two lines are priceless!

However i must confess that the allure of wierd soap operas is quite strong, (who couldn't love the whole "You aint my mother!" "Yes I AM!!" thing?) i find they kinda suck you in gradually, first of all you watch em coz they speak funny (Trisha does in Emmerdale anyway) then the characters you used to hate are now your hero fugures (LOOk at Kat from Eastenders)...and i thougt it was just a Brit thing!!
