Wow, this was fabulous! You have an excellent understanding of the characters and a very good writing style. Kai is often a character that's hard to peg because he presents so many different faces (Ran's loyal puppydog, hard-** with an attitude, needy and bitter, etc.) but you managed to grasp him and even represent all these different aspects of him quite well. Great work! I hope to read more of your writing later.
