Nice idea, and a very good story to go with it. You can see where Relena learnt the art of quiet diplomacy. The polite and graceful fencing between them was lovely, as well as the nicely dropped in comments updating readers on the situation of the other characters. Most enjoyable.

This was nice; refreshing, somehow (I've been ODing lately on all the wonderful 1x2 fics out there). The bit about the lilies really brought this fic together for me. That single detail told me more about Mrs. Darlian than everything else that makes her a typical mother (like the getting married stuff, etc.). You portray the relationship between them much the way I would imagine. Nice work. quelirain.
