i hate yuffietine becoz i think it'll never happen in a million years so i just checkd out this fic for laughs and i lUVD IT! i think your portrayal of yuffie's perfect but i'm not so sure about your vincent though but i luv the plot and the writing style and the pacing =3 overall, this is awesome

By the way, all the things you portrayed are extremely vivid to me. The townspeople battle scene was the one that hit me the most. I can't say it's my favorite, seeing that means I have to like it in a sense that I enjoy it, but I really do like that scene. Just the emotion put into it, and the horror that the girl had to go through. I hope to see the girl again, because I don't feel her story has ended. Although it is extremely sad that the scene ended up with only the girl and the younger lords surviving. I'm sad that he took her away. Makes me wonder who the townspeople who were still surviving and fighting followed, or what they did when they noticed she was no longer there. Or where they already dead from falling back? It's a bit foggy to me.

Anywho, I do believe that your assumption on Chocobos is correct, however in recent games horses have not made appearances, so I assume they must of died out at some time or the other... Or maybe the canon game is only chocobos. I like to believe that horses do exist though. 83

My other favorite scene includes the... Hurr... I dunno, I like this whole story, but I believe that I really liked the scene where Yuffie and Vincent are walking in the forest. I was inspired to draw something of that, actually. It is on my Deviant Art if you ever feel the need to look.

Anywho, I really do love this story! Although there are a few handfulls of mistakes here and there, it doesn't ruin the overall presentation of the story, but it does disrupt it. xO

Hi hi, I know you haven't updated this in ages. I just happened to have stumbled on it again after not having read it for maybe two years now. I just wanted to thank you again for writing such a wonderful Yuffentine. I enjoyed re-reading it as much if not more than when I'd first did - I absolutely adore your amazing descriptions, dialogues, interaction and development of the relationship between Vincent and Yuffie. I believe its writers like yourself that keeps a fan's longterm liking for a pair so alive over the years. Thanks again and take care!

*sigh* It makes me so sad to have to stop reading an amazing story that isn't yet finsished. Especially one that hasn't been updated in years, because I figure it never will be. It leaves me with a feeling of uncompletion, sure I can find another story, but I can't stop thinking of the much better story I found before...
What I'm trying to get to is that there are people out there who have waited MUCH longer than me, years probably. And if I am left with an insane NEED for you to update immeadiatley lest I die, I can't even imagine what they feel by this time.

This is the best %&$%% fanfic I've ever read with Vincent Valentine portrayed *exactly* as I imagined him and in perfect character!(and I do agree with your decision to make him cold and calculating, many writers kill their Vincents by not realising that it *is* what he is)
I'm amazed at how well you can keep his mental workings so well throughout your work, and even the slight misshaps work because you let them slip at the right moments.

The only critic I have are the long philosophical introspections some of your own custom characters have. Although, I must admit they are fleshed out better than a whole lot of other custome made-up characters I've read because of these, it gets a little long and dreary and I think most readers get it after the first few analogies or ideas presented to further their story and development.

Also I love your small author narrations, they almost seem like Yuffie's thoughts in some cases and, while reading your fanfic I notived that they are done mostly in 'lighter' more humorous parts of the story and you never break any tentions.

All-in-all the best fanfic I've had a chance to read with Vincent as main character..EVER. Litterally glued to the screen for a few hour. I love how his character is developing while still remaining characteristically 'Vincent'. Can't wait how both their relationships will change them.

my gawd, i havent read a yuffentine this good in so long. amazing story, and i sincerely mean that. you utilized the world and characters of ff7 in a masterful way, down to even the weapons. amazing. i thoroughly enjoyed this. good yuffentine - with a run away yuffie, reluctant to throne,violence, fighting no fluff. i didnt really like the last chapter though, and the virginity thing kinda killed it for me, i thought that was VERY OOC. otherwise, one of the best fanfics ive ever had the pleasure to read.

So I'd rant and rave that it's been forever since this was updated...but I did just find it yesterday. I love it, the humor, the fact that you actually write them in a way that makes them both seem quite real, and there is the whole 'it's an awesome story'. I really hope somehow you find the inspiration to keep going, I'll cry big salty alligator tears if you don't, which is silly, but I really like this story and I just gotta know what happens next! Sorry, I ramble...guess I could've just said "Great job!"

Regardless of what others seem to think, I like your portrayal of Yuffie. Too many people want to make her a completely immature little kid when she... really isn't.

So, good job with the story. It's interesting, to say the least. I hope that at some point your muse will grace your writing.

Just as the love starts to blossom, you stop writing! WHY?!?!?! I love this story! It's a fantastic plot, hilariously funny, incredibly sweet and your thorough attunement of instincts with emotions is wonderfully done. PLEASE UPDATE - I'M BEGGING YOU!

Wow. Really that was just amazing. You were so worried about the characterisation and yet you managed to do it so remarkably well. There are so many Yuffie and Vincent fanfics out there that work until the first kiss or realisation of feeling, then let the fic dissolve into a terrible sappy piece of fluff. You haven't fallen into this trap and have kept the characters consistent - which I think is bloody amazing. I also love how the characters act; as if they've just stepped out of Final Fantasy 7 (original - non complication), I always thought Vincent was more battle-worn both mentally and physically than the compilation of FF7 makes him out to be.
I really love the gradual slift towards romance in this. You know, explaining reasoning and how the dark "..." angsty gunslinger and the hyperactive "nyuk, nyuk, nyuk" teenage ninja could possibly find a relationship in each other.
What else is there? A plot, a really good plot that leaves me eager to discover what happens next. An incredible eye for detail - describing everything so well that it's easy to immerse yourself in the story, without excessive description breaking up the flow of the tale.
Admittedly Dirge of Cerberus hurts this story terribly in terms of canon; which is one reason why I'll understand if it never gets updated or finished (as upsetting as it would be). Also I understand the pain of waiting for the muses to strike. However I do have to admit that I would be overjoyed if this story was updated (especially if it were finished). I hope your muse helps you with this story soon.

In the case of Sephiroth... Vincent Valentine, you ARE the father. *shocked gasps* Sorry about the major randomness here, but that really shocked me. I noticed from time to time that they do have some... eh... similarities, but that... it made so much sense it scared me. Very few things make sense to me...

Anywho... I love this story. It's beautifully written and obviously well thought out. Yuffie and Vincent are so perfectly in character, and they grow throughout the story.
